The smallest of her daughters is 2 years and 10 months old and enjoys good health with a normal nutritional state.
Petrona says… “…I’m concerned that all the children in the community are weighed and measured, to know if they are underweight or not. For this reason I think CARE for having me trained as a health promoter and for supporting with food in my community.”
The improvement of the quality of life that Petrona has experienced is the result of the support that the Title II program from USAID Bolivia is providing to contribute to decreasing malnutrition in children under 5 years of age and to improve the quality of life for families, through the implementation of the Food Security Program of CARE - Bolivia.
